Welcome to October
October is here, hard to believe. A cold wet spring to record temperatures in September, it has been a different growing season this year, but successful. Come out and fill your basket. We have loads of beets (4 different kinds), awesome sweet peppers are hanging on the bushes waiting for you, the winter squashes are picked and the pumpkin patch is in full swing. Caselots of apples from the Okanagan are also available. Look forward to seeing you. -
Our CSA program has arrived!
We are excited to announce our Community Shared Agriculture harvest box program containing our mix of the best in-season fruit and vegetables. Receive a box of produce each week from June to October. That's 20 boxes in all! -
Summer Is Here !
The GARLIC has been pulled! Blueberries are in full swing. Come out and enjoy some fresh garlic and pick up everything you need for dinner. Make a big mixed salad, grill some summer squash and new potatoes. Top it off with some fresh roasted garlic. Have an extra special dinner by adding a tub of BC Spot prawns. Would you like to learn more about the workings of our farm ? Stop by on Saturday for a "behind the scenes tour",. $5. per person includes a farm treat. 5 person minimium -
Behind the scenes farm tour!
Learn how a small-scale farm works including a visit to our century-old barn, farm animals, hay stacks and a walk through our wholesome fields. Every Saturday until October (excluding September 10th), 1:30pm - 2:30pm at Westham Island Herb Farm picnic table, cost is $5 per person, you get a farm treat too! (there is a minimum of 5 people to make up a tour) -
A Day at the Farm
Saturday September 10th is our " A Day at the Farm" . It is a wonderful day to come out for a visit, lots of extras- hay wagon tours, draft horses plowing, live music and so much more. We have loads of veggies and fruits available. Caselot sales of freestone peaches, it is time to preserve. If you already have, bring them out on Saturday for the " Canning Contest" Judging is at noon. See you on the farm. -
