• Welcome to October

  October is here, hard to believe. A cold wet spring to record temperatures in September, it has been a different growing season this year, but successful. Come out and fill your basket. We have loads of beets (4 different kinds), awesome sweet peppers are hanging on the bushes waiting for you, the winter squashes are picked and the pumpkin patch is in full swing. Caselots of apples from the Okanagan are also available. Look forward to seeing you.

• Summer Is Here !

  The GARLIC has been pulled! Blueberries are in full swing. Come out and enjoy some fresh garlic and pick up everything you need for dinner. Make a big mixed salad, grill some summer squash and new potatoes. Top it off with some fresh roasted garlic. Have an extra special dinner by adding a tub of BC Spot prawns. • A Day at the Farm

  Saturday September 10th is our " A Day at the Farm" . It is a wonderful day to come out for a visit, lots of extras- hay wagon tours, draft horses plowing, live music and so much more. We have loads of veggies and fruits available. Caselot sales of freestone peaches, it is time to preserve. If you already have, bring them out on Saturday for the " Canning Contest" Judging is at noon. See you on the farm.

Meet The Farmer

Welcome to Westham Island Herb Farm Ladner BC

Last day of the season is OCTOBER 31st

Leave your troubles behind and walk through my garden to see how farm produce is grown and cared for. The colourful flower and herb gardens are a sight to see! Purchase preserves, fresh cut flowers, bedding plants, beautifully planted flower baskets and other products right from my country shops.

My farm is open to the public from May 1 to October 31 and offers an ever changing smorgasbord of goodies. Bring your mother out for Mother's Day, the family out for berry picking or your school class out for a visit to the pumpkin patch and haunted barn. Be sure to attend our "Day at the Farm" in September to learn about the importance of local farmland and the products it provides.

By sending me an e-mail message with "crop availability" in the subject line, you can receive updates on when specific crops are ready for picking or purchase. No need to worry about missing the season, I'll drop you an e-mail to let you know!
